Adhering to the brand's marine legend, Omega launched the Ocean Universe watch series in 2005. Today, this style-defining timepiece is a classic tribute to Omega's dive watch heritage.
The 45.50 mm stainless steel model is paired with a ceramic titanium dial with a small seconds dial and a date window, and a 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph sub-dial at 3 o'clock. Both the button ring and the unidirectional rotating bezel are made of orange ceramic, and the diving scale is covered with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova luminous coating.
Other design features include a cogged screw-in case back, an integrated stainless steel bracelet with an Omega fold-over clasp and a diving extension strap.
The watch is water-resistant to 60 atmospheres (600 meters/2000 feet) and has a helium escape valve. The timepiece is equipped with the Omega 9900 Master Chronometer movement, and the operation of the movement is clearly visible through the transparent case back. The watch has passed eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and has been certified by the Master Chronometer.
